Recently, the ORV (Off-Road Vehicle) brand Fangchengbao (Formula Leopard) under BYD and Huawei signed a smart driving cooperation agreement in Shenzhen. The two parties will jointly conduct in-depth research and development on the smart driving of the Formula Leopard brand under BYD, and together create the world's first exclusive smart driving solution for tough off-road vehicles.

The first product of their cooperation focuses on the upcoming model of Leopard 8, which will be equipped with Huawei's Qian Kun Smart Driving ADS 3.0. This will be the first model under BYD to be equipped with Huawei Qian Kun Smart Driving, and also the world's first tough off-road vehicle equipped with Huawei smart driving technology.

It is expected that after the third quarter of this year, the Leopard 8 will be officially launched with Huawei Qian Kun Smart Driving ADS 3.0. The two parties will usher in a new era of global intelligent tough off-road.

Huawei Qian Kun Smart Driving ADS 3.0 features a safety-first end-to-end network architecture, bringing a more human-like, safer, and more efficient driving experience. In terms of safety, ADS 3.0 has upgraded its collision prevention capabilities from all directions of forward, side, and rear, supporting faster braking, shorter braking distance, and collision prevention for accidental gas pedal misapplication.

In terms of smart driving navigation assistance, it is the first to achieve full-scenario intelligent driving experience "from parking lot to parking lot". Smart driving navigation assistance can be activated at the departure parking lot, and the vehicle can independently deal with various complex scenarios such as toll gates, roundabouts, and narrow road turns, truly achieving "one-click" arrival. In terms of parking, it supports remote parking entry, where the owner can select the parking space on the vehicle and then leave the vehicle; it supports remote car relocation, where if the vehicle blocks other vehicles, the owner can control it through the phone to achieve remote relocation; the parking valet is gradually commercialized, where the owner can control the vehicle through the phone to achieve "summon and dismissal".

The Leopard 8 is the second product under the BYD sub-brand Formula Leopard, positioned as a super hybrid intelligent tough SUV. It will be based on the 2.0T DMO super hybrid off-road platform and the full-function Yunyan-P intelligent hydraulic body control system, integrating the latest Huawei Qian Kun Smart Driving ADS 3.0. While possessing strong performance and comfortable driving experience, it can also provide users with a high-level intelligent driving travel experience.
